See fractures 2D X-ray can miss, without stepping up to CT

The Adaptix Ortho350 is an FDA-cleared, low-dose 3D digital tomosynthesis system built for orthopedic extremity imaging. It delivers cross-sectional 3D views in under 20 seconds, at a dose comparable to conventional 2D radiography.

It is compact enough for an exam room, runs on standard power, and is billed under an established CPT code, so practices can keep more extremity imaging in-house.

Billable under CPT® 76100

Extremity tomosynthesis on the Ortho350 is billed under the established CPT® 76100 code. Billed globally in an office setting (POS 11), your practice keeps both the technical and professional payment for studies you would otherwise refer out.

Fewer patients sent for CT or MRI just to rule out a fracture means faster answers for patients and revenue that stays in your practice.

PayerNational-average allowable

Commercial national averages as of Aug 2026. Medicare typically pays less. Actual reimbursement varies by payer, contract, and locality; verify your top payer rates before building them into your projections.

Capabilities

Built for the extremity workflow

Fast 3D imaging

Captures a full tomosynthesis scan in less than 20 seconds. First slices render within seconds, with a complete multi-slice dataset in about 15.

See through overlap

Cross-sectional slices cut through the anatomical overlap that hides subtle or occult fractures on standard films.

Low dose

Radiation dose in line with conventional 2D radiography, far below CT.

Weight-bearing studies

Optional footrests support true weight-bearing imaging of knees, ankles, and feet.

Easy to deploy

Roughly 16" x 17" x 24". Runs on standard power, needs minimal shielding, and typically installs in hours with no dedicated room.

Fits your systems

Full DICOM connectivity with your existing RIS/PACS.

Who it's for

The Ortho350 fits wherever extremity X-rays are already being taken and equivocal cases are being sent out for advanced imaging.

  • Orthopedic and sports medicine practices
  • Podiatry and foot & ankle clinics
  • Ambulatory surgery centers
  • Urgent care centers
  • Hospital and outpatient imaging departments
